Appraisal
Appraisal: An appraisal is a document that contains a brief description and photograph of the diamond or jewelry item. An appraisal typically documents key information about your diamond or jewelry item such as the cut , color, clarity, and either carat weight for any diamonds, or millimeter dimensions for any diamonds or precious stones. These key items are documented, so that your insurance agency can calculate a coverage rate for your diamond or piece of fine jewelry, and provide a replacement if needed. Appraisals by Diamond on Net may be requested during your checkout for an additional $25.
